Welcome to our Ambassador Program intro. In this page you will find useful information on how to use the Dashboard, get your creatives ready and make the most out of our program.

Initial Setup

When you were accepted into the program we sent you an email with your credentials. You will need those to set up your account. If you don’t have that information please contact us.

After you activate your account (including accepting the terms, entering your PayPal email and choosing some creatives) you’ll have full access to your Dashboard, which you’ll use to get your unique Referral link, the creatives we have prepared for you and to track your commissions.

You can edit your profile info (including your password and PayPal email) by going to the tab Edit Profile

Make your Referral link look better

Your Referral link is a link with a tracking code so it might look too long or too weird to share in certain social networks or blog posts so we recommend you use a link shortener for such occasions.

So, instead of:

https://piccardilla.com/product/climate-change-tee-in-vintage-white-men/?wpam_id=27

You’ll get:

https://tinyurl.com/yourname

Much cleaner, right?

Bitly and Rebrandly are great choices but our favorite link shortener is TinyURL. It’s a bit outdated but it does the trick and it lets you customize the link. It’s also free, give it a shot.

Whichever you choose, just copy your full referral link (as shown in your dashboard) and paste in your chosen shortener. You’ll get a nice link to use in your social networks (Instagram looks better with a shortened link).

How to use the Creatives

Creatives are HTML images and buttons you can use if you have a website or a Blog. If you don’t, the Referral link will suffice but you can use this section to download promo images for your social networks.

When you place a creative in your website or blog using our HTML code, your Referral link will automatically be added so whenever someone clicks on it they will be tracked as a referral from you. If they place an order during that session, it will count towards your Ambassador commission.

To use one of the creatives we have prepared for you just go to the tab Creatives and see the ones available to you.

In this example above you can see the available creatives in a box.

You’ll see the left column indicates the type of creative (Image or text) and the right column indicates the name. Click on the name of the creative you want to use so you can see the HTML you can paste in your website.

In the example above we chose the Banner creative. You can see the HTML code ready to copy and paste in your website or Blog. It comes SEO ready with Alt text.
You can click the Preview button to take a closer look.

You can also download the image with a right click – download image. Perfect for when you don’t need the HTML code and just want to post the image in your social networks. You can use the creatives on Instagram, for example, as it’s a great way to get people’s attention.

Double your commissions $$$

As an ambassador you get 20% off of everything in our store for as long as you are part of the program. Did you know we can double your commission if you use your 20% off discount? When you start with the program you get 10% for every order that was referred through your unique Referral link BUT if you order something with your 20% off plus free shipping discount we will bump up your commission to 20% for as long as you are part of our program.

Our organic cotton tees are priced at $40, so every time someone uses your link to order you’ll get $8 in commissions. That’s the highest commission rate in the industry by the way.

You are going to buy clothes somewhere anyways, you might as well do it with a discount and for an opportunity to get more out of our Ambassador Program.

Please keep in mind that you can only use the discount while logged in with your Ambassador account. The discount will be automatically applied to your cart.

Blog with us

Do you have a website or blog? Well, that’s the perfect place to share your referral link and creatives (banners and pictures).

Even if you don’t have a blog but you’ve always wanted to write about the things you are most passionate about, read on, we might be able to work something out with you.

You can use the creatives to include a link or a banner in your next post or webpage by copying the HTML code provided in your dashboard and pasting it in your page. The process is very simple and it will automatically include your unique referral link.

For example, you can write a post about organic fashion, ethical clothing, sustainability, nature, the great outdoors or something similar and use our creatives within the post. It’s a great way to get people involved and use your Referral link.

Remember our cookies last for 30 days so even if the people that clicked your link don’t make an order right away, any purchase they make within 30 days will count towards your commission.

We also have a blog in our page and we love guest posts so you could also write something for our blog and increase the exposure of your Referral link. We share our blog posts with our email list and social networks and we give full credit to the author so both your link and profile will be seen by more eyes. If you have a passion for writing about nature, the great outdoors, sustainable fashion or the likes just reply contact us and we will move forward to the next stage.

How does your ambassador program work?

As a Piccardilla ambassador, you actively help us spread the word about our brand. For every person you refer to our site that makes a purchase, you get a commission. The more people you refer, the better chances you have of earning more with our program. We pay real money, not store credit nor products, directly to your PayPal account.

How do I promote your products?

There are a number of different ways you can promote our products. The most popular is by linking to our site with either a banner advertisement or a text link. We provide you with several creatives, images and banners so it’s easy for you to get started right away.

What's the commission rate?

When you start with the program you get 10% for every order that was referred through your unique Referral link BUT if you order something with your 20% discount we will bump up your commissions to 20% for as long as you are part of our program. Just send us an email when you finish your order and we will change your commission rate immediately.

How long does the referral link last for?

Whenever a visitor clicks through your Referral link, a 30-day cookie is set. If they make a purchase within those 30 days you get a commission for the sale. You will also get a commission for any other purchase they make during that 30-day period.

How do cookies work?

When someone clicks on your referral link they are redirected to our website and a cookie is set with your affiliate id, which works as a tracking identifier. As long as they don’t clear their cookies or click on another referral link before checking out, the sale will be credited to you.

How will I know someone used my referral link?

After you create your ambassador account you will have access to real-time reporting and sales tracking. You will know how many people used your link and how many purchased something. You’ll also be able to see your to-be-paid commissions. You will receive an email from us when an order has taken place and you earned a commission.

How and when do I get paid?

We pay our ambassadors through PayPal, a secure, free to use and worldwide transaction tool. You can join our program without a PayPal account but you’ll need one to get paid, just update the info in your dashboard when you have created you PayPal account.

We pay our ambassadors the 1st of every month and you’ll receive the funds immediately. If the order is cancelled by the customer you won’t be paid.

Is there a minimum payout threshold?

Yes. Once you accumulate at least a $10 balance you will be paid out the 1st day of the following month. We do this to prevent fraud and abuse.

It’s also important to point out that there is no limit to how much you can earn with our program.
